Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe have a lot to look forward to based on the details released about the new Avengers: Doomsday trailer.

Marvel is currently finishing up work on Avengers: Doomsday, directed by Joe and Anthony Russo. The film is scheduled to hit US theaters later this year, and a follow-up movie, Avengers: Secret Wars, is planned for release in 2027.

Four trailers for the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday movie have been released so far. The first showed Chris Evans reprising his role as Steve Rogers, the second highlighted Chris Hemsworth as Thor, and the third featured several X-Men characters. The final trailer focused on Letitia Wright as Shuri/Black Panther, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing, and other characters.

Ever since, the internet’s been buzzing with speculation about who else would be joining the team. You’d think after all the leaks and reports we’d have the full picture, but the trailer actually surprised me by showing Kathryn Newton as Cassie Lang – that was a secret they managed to keep under wraps!
