The Avengers: Doomsday teaser trailer officially confirms a major character is returning to the MCU.

I’m so excited for the next Avengers movie! It’s called Avengers: Doomsday, and it’s currently being finished up. The Russo brothers, who did amazing work on previous Marvel films, are directing it, and it’s coming to theaters in about a year. And the best part? They’re already planning another one, Avengers: Secret Wars, which will be out in 2027! It’s going to be an incredible few years for Marvel fans like me.

Who returns to the MCU in the Avengers: Doomsday teaser trailer?

Despite several leaks online recently, the official first teaser trailer for Avengers: Doomsday is now showing before screenings of Avatar: Fire and Ash. According to Variety, the trailer also confirms Chris Evans will be returning as Steve Rogers in the new movie.

The video reveals that Evans’ character has a newborn baby, and it concludes with a message promising Steve Rogers will be back for “Avengers: Doomsday.” We can expect to see more preview trailers for the film in the coming weeks.

It’s still unclear how significant Chris Evans’ role will be in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday film. Rumors suggest Steve Rogers might appear as Nomad rather than Captain America, but Marvel hasn’t officially confirmed this change.
