In a recent episode of The Ringer’s podcast, The Town, it was disclosed by Matthew Belloni that he has heard Avengers: Doomsday will be the initial Avengers movie where Chris Hemsworth’s character, Thor, will take on the main role.

In this scene, Thor found himself dwarfed by these colossal figures with extraordinary abilities, taking on a backup role instead of the main character as some fans might have anticipated following his status as one of the early Marvel Cinematic Universe heroes to secure a standalone movie at that particular juncture.

Avengers: Age of Ultron

This movie offers Thor an abundance of tasks, as he essentially spearheads his own mission alongside the Guardians of the Galaxy.

His account encompasses reviving a dormant celestial body, crafting his latest Stormbreaker weapon, and engaging in a battle with the formidable Thanos in the untamed lands of Wakanda. Nevertheless, it’s Captain America and Iron Man who steer the team and ultimately the film.

Avengers: Endgame

Similar to the last “Avengers” movie, “Avengers: Endgame” is once more predominantly starring Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. This is notable because the Infinity Saga’s conclusion functioned as a farewell for their characters, as both actors decided to depart from the Marvel franchise following this film.
