What happens in the second Avengers: Doomsday teaser trailer?

In the first teaser trailer for the new Avengers movie, Thor, played by Chris Hemsworth, is shown praying in a forest. He asks Odin, his father, not for power or glory, but simply to be allowed to live long enough to see the person he loves again, despite feeling unworthy. He says, “I ask for none of the crowns, kingdoms, or pride. Father, hear your son. I am not worthy of life, but please let me live a little longer—not for battles or storms, but to see my love one last time.”

Thor mentions his daughter, Love – a character played by Chris Hemsworth’s daughter, India, in the 2022 film Thor: Love and Thunder. The video concludes by teasing Thor’s return in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday movie.

The upcoming movie, Avengers: Doomsday, boasts a star-studded cast including Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom, Pedro Pascal as Mister Fantastic, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, and Channing Tatum as Gambit, alongside Vanessa Kirby as Invisible Woman and Letitia Wright as Black Panther.
