The book, published by Abrams Books, is available for pre-order now for $50 and will be released on November 10th.

According to Abrams Books, Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender: The Art of the Movie offers fans a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the film. It showcases the creative journey of bringing Aang, Katara, Sokka, Toph, and Zuko back to the screen, including never-before-seen concept art, character designs, and locations. The book explores how the characters developed and introduces new dangers and creatures.
Featuring contributions from the creators and animation team, Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender: The Art of the Movie showcases the film’s fun, energy, and groundbreaking animation. It especially highlights the unique combination of traditional 2D and computer-generated imagery, a first for Western animation studios, making it a must-have for fans excited about the future of the Avatar story.
