The DC Universe, starting with films like Superman, is now creating a connected world of movies and TV shows that’s just as appealing as Marvel’s established cinematic universe. Shows such as Peacemaker and Lanterns are proving DC is also capable of high-quality television. While DC now rivals Marvel in live-action entertainment, Marvel still leads when it comes to animated films released in theaters.

I’m always discovering amazing horror movies that seem to fly under the radar, and it really bothers me! There are seriously some incredible ones out there that deserve way more attention. I’m talking about everything – a truly phenomenal slasher film, some deeply unsettling psychological thrillers, even movies that blend horror with science fiction. And honestly, that’s just scratching the surface of all the hidden gems waiting to be discovered.

While some Minecraft seeds are best for building a base or playing on hardcore mode, exploration seeds don’t have to be difficult. During a stop on her Short n’ Sweet tour at Madison Square Garden in New York City, Sabrina Carpenter embraced the Halloween spirit by renaming the show Short n’ Sweet Spooky and performing in several Halloween costumes. She dressed as Barbie, Fred Flintstone, and Wonder Woman throughout the night. While her Barbie and Fred Flintstone looks didn’t generate much discussion, her Wonder Woman costume sparked debate online, with some questioning if a blonde Carpenter could accurately portray the character. 1976, a popular account on X (formerly Twitter), quickly defended Carpenter by posting a photo of her in costume and writing, “I’m seeing some debate about Wonder Woman being a brunette… Just a reminder that Wonder Woman lives within all of us, and sometimes, she has blonde hair like @SabrinaAnnLynn!”

While based on Stephen King’s 2013 novel – itself a sequel to his 1977 book – Mike Flanagan’s film version is arguably even better. With King’s blessing, Flanagan cleverly incorporated iconic scenes and ideas from Stanley Kubrick’s film adaptation of The Shining, blending them with King’s original story.

A few of these films have everything it takes to become beloved cult classics. They’re daring, tell unusual stories, and have a very specific style and focus. While they might be strange, offbeat, or not widely known, that’s exactly what will likely make them influential within horror subcultures over time.

Despite a few unsuccessful movies like Shark Tale and Turbo, DreamWorks has consistently delivered quality animation. They’ve built a loyal fanbase with popular franchises, most notably Shrek, which remains well-loved even with its weaker sequels. DreamWorks has created a number of truly excellent animated films that are consistently enjoyable from start to finish.

The change reflects a broader adjustment in character dining experiences within the park.

For anime fans – and really, anyone who enjoys a good TV show – To Be Hero X delivers everything you could want from a superhero series. Beyond the essentials – compelling characters, beautiful animation, and a strong story – the show created a truly memorable experience, and it’s been renewed for a second season. While Gen V and The Boys are currently popular superhero shows, anime fans recognize that To Be Hero X is the truly innovative series that stood out over its 24 episodes.
