Director Dan Trachtenberg recently shared with ScreenTime/Dexterto that he thought about including Amber Midthunder, who played Naru in the successful film Prey, in the new Predator movie, Badlands. Naru, the protagonist of Prey, famously survived an encounter with a Predator in 1719 on the Great Plains. The idea was considered before the film’s release on November 7th.

He reprised his role as Finney in Black Phone 2, which earned $8 million over Halloween weekend, bringing its total earnings to $61.5 million domestically and over $104 million worldwide. He also appeared in Regretting You, a film based on a Colleen Hoover novel, which earned $8.1 million domestically over the same weekend – just slightly more than Black Phone 2, making it the weekend’s top-grossing film.

The ensemble includes frequent Murphy collaborators like Sarah Paulson (known from “American Crime Story”), Naomi Watts (“Feud: Capote vs. The Swans”), and Niecy Nash (“Scream Queens”), alongside reality star and businesswoman Kim Kardashian (who appeared in “American Horror Story: Delicate”), and screen icon Glenn Close (famous for “Fatal Attraction” and FX’s “Damages”).

Rachel Sennott created, wrote, and stars in the new comedy series, I Love LA, which premiered on November 2nd with the episode “Block Her.” The show centers on a group of friends who rely heavily on each other as they reconnect and try to figure out their careers. Critics have responded very positively to I Love LA, giving it an 81% Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

According to Variety, Ryan Reynolds will star in a movie adaptation of the classic children’s book series Eloise. Mae Schenk will play Eloise, and Reynolds will portray the film’s villain.
