Typically, network TV saves its best comedies for later in the year, but 2025 is different. This fall, the new show St. Denis Medical is leading the charge, and it’s all about the lives of the doctors and nurses who work there. TopMob recently chatted with the show’s stars – Alison Tolman, Mekki Lepper, Kaliko Kauahi, Wendi McLendon-Covey, and Kahyun Kim – to mark the beginning of Season 2.

He takes on the role of Professor Albus Dumbledore, following in the footsteps of Richard Harris, Michael Gambon, and Jude Law, who have all previously portrayed the character. In a recent interview, the actor discussed joining the Harry Potter world and his unique interpretation of Dumbledore.

A preview of DC K.O.: Knightfight #1 (from DC Comics, by Joshua Williamson, Dan Mora, Tríona Farrell, and Tom Napolitano) shows the moment Batman was stabbed by the Joker in the first issue of DC K.O. Luckily, Batman had equipped his suit with technology that could instantly transport him back to Gotham if he was injured. However, when he returns, he finds a drastically changed Gotham City, and his former Robins aren’t pleased to see him.

In the first Lord of the Rings movie, Sam vowed to stay with Frodo no matter what, but he found himself forced to leave him. He took the One Ring to complete Frodo’s mission, and then overheard Orcs discussing that Frodo hadn’t been killed by Shelob’s venom. While the scene ultimately proved to be a false alarm in The Return of the King, it was deeply moving and still resonates with viewers today, largely thanks to Sean Astin’s powerful performance as Sam. The director’s commentary reveals this was one of the audition scenes for Sam, and it was the scene that secured Astin the role.

Okay, let’s talk about Hulu’s All’s Fair. Right now, it’s facing a pretty tough reception. Critics haven’t been kind – it currently has a 0% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and that’s never a good look. Now, that score is based on a small number of reviews – just eight, to be exact – and the audience isn’t much warmer, giving it a 56% rating after a little over 100 votes. While things could turn around, the initial reviews have been pretty harsh, and it’s definitely got an uphill battle ahead of it.

Twelve years after the events of Die Hard with a Vengeance, John McClane returns in Live Free or Die Hard, now facing a new kind of threat in the 21st century: cyberterrorism. This time, McClane is challenged not just physically, but technologically, and he finds himself outmatched by the villain, Thomas Gabriel, played by Timothy Olyphant – a first for the series.

Mike Schur, the creator of The Good Place and the first season of Man on the Inside, is back with the second season of the show. The latest trailer reveals that Ted Danson’s character, Charles Nieuwendyk, will be posing as a college professor to investigate who blackmailed the university’s president (Max Greenfield). The season will also introduce a host of new characters played by Gary Cole, Michaela Conlin, Sam Huntington, David Strathairn, Jill Talley, Madison Hu, Lisa Gilroy, Linda Park, and Mary Steenburgen, all of whom are potential suspects.

The action drama Beast in Me will be released domestically by Grindstone Entertainment Group. The film tells a familiar underdog story, this time set in the world of mixed martial arts (MMA). According to Deadline, the plot centers on a retired MMA fighter who returns to the ring for a crucial rematch against the champion he previously beat. He’s now the underdog and must confront his troubled past, feelings of guilt and loss, to fight for his family and reclaim his life.
