A poor ending can quickly ruin a movie, leaving audiences feeling disappointed or even angry. Conversely, a strong ending can transform a good film into something truly memorable. Over the last couple of decades, movie endings have changed significantly. Unlike the tidy resolutions common in classic Hollywood films, many modern movies now embrace open endings and unexpected twists. While not every film follows this trend, it’s clear this approach has been successful for the past 25 years.

As a huge fan of these shows, I’ve noticed just how many Targaryens we’re meeting – from Game of Thrones all the way through House of the Dragon! And it looks like there are even more on the way as the story of the Dance of the Dragons keeps unfolding. HBO has given the green light for two more seasons, which is fantastic news because it means we’ll get to know even more characters. While details are still under wraps, I’m particularly excited to hear that Daeron Targaryen will be joining the cast. He’s another member of the royal family and sounds like he’ll be a key player in the battles to come.

The latest episode of NCIS Season 23 recently aired. This week, the team investigated a U.S. marine suspected of kidnapping the wife of a Justice Department official. It turned out the marine was actually helping the woman escape an abusive relationship, having hidden her with a support group for women in similar situations.

The movie’s story actually began in a different place. TopMob spoke with director Dan Trachtenberg, known for Predator: Badlands and Prey, as well as co-directing Killer of Killers. He shared the unexpected beginnings of the film, revealing that it nearly took place during World War II with Nazis as part of the plot.

It’s often said that the first Scream movie was the best, and many agree – even within the film itself. Drew Barrymore’s character famously said as much, and it’s a sentiment echoed by the director, Wes Craven. Craven, who also created A Nightmare on Elm Street, directed the original Scream and the seventh installment, and helped write the third. This self-aware commentary suggests he wasn’t entirely satisfied with how the series evolved after the initial success – and he’s playfully poking fun at his own work too.

Currently, in 2025, viewers are especially drawn to mind-bending psychological thrillers and science fiction series.

The first project under DC’s new direction is called Gods and Monsters, and fans who have been following the DC movies closely are eager to find out which heroes will appear in future films and who will portray them. Since then, development on the film has been mostly silent, with only a possible title, Star Wars: New Jedi Order, and a change in writers – George Nolfi began working on the script earlier this year. The absence of any firm news about the project at Star Wars Celebration 2025 led many to worry that the movie starring Rey might be canceled.
