When Rachel Sennott’s show was announced for HBO’s prime Sunday night slot, people had high hopes. I Love LA is a comedy about young adults figuring out life – friendships, work, and love – in Los Angeles. While this storyline isn’t new – many creators try to capture this experience – it’s often done poorly, especially when shows focus too much on being relatable. Unfortunately, Sennott’s first episode fell into this same trap, seeming to try too hard to connect with viewers.

The cast of All’s Fair gathered at Kris Jenner’s house for a screening of Fatal Attraction after it was revealed on an episode of The Kardashians that Kim Kardashian had never seen the erotic thriller. Afterward, Sarah Paulson and Niecy Nash broke down the group’s reaction to a particularly spicy scene for ET, with Nash recalling:

The Wanted comic book was a clear reflection of the superhero genre, acting as a dark parody of it – almost like a twisted version of the DC Universe. However, the movie adaptation didn’t capture these elements at all. This is likely because the comic came out at a different time for superhero films, and so far, no adaptation has truly captured the spirit of the original comic.

Deadline just shared the first picture from the upcoming romantic comedy, Next Life. The photo shows stars Clarke and Ramírez sitting together on a train. Clarke plays Ivy, a woman who imagines what her life could be like in different universes with both Diego (played by Ramírez) and Noah (played by Jack Farthing). After directing the 2023 sports comedy Next Goal Wins, which didn’t gain much attention, Taika Waititi is teaming up with Disney again for a feel-good project. He’s directing Best Christmas Ever, a brand-new holiday short film that will premiere on Disney+ and Disney’s social media channels on November 10, 2025.

You can now stream A Madea Christmas on HBO Max. Tyler Perry not only stars as the hilarious Madea in the film, but he also wrote and directed it. The Madea series is known for its over-the-top plots – think Madea Goes to Jail and Madea’s Witness Protection – and A Madea Christmas adds a festive, holiday twist to the character’s usual antics. Originally a stage play Perry performed and released on DVD in 2011, the story was later developed into a full movie in 2013. Here’s what the movie is about:

A new trailer for Avengers: Doomsday is expected to debut in theaters during showings of Disney’s Avatar: Fire and Ash. Collider reports the trailer will be the first glimpse of Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom, though the length of the footage hasn’t been revealed.

The actors have been recast, which might seem like a big change, but it’s actually pretty common in popular animated series.
