Spider-Man is a hugely popular character, attracting many talented comic book creators over the past sixty years. However, despite this, the comics have seen some significant errors in editing, writing, and storytelling that almost destroyed the character’s overall story. These range from major editorial changes to Peter Parker’s backstory to problematic rewrites affecting other well-known characters – and represent the biggest mistakes ever made in Spider-Man comics.

Despite featuring Denzel Washington, Gary Oldman, and Mila Kunis, the film The Book of Eli is generally considered a box office disappointment, earning only slightly more than its production cost and receiving a lukewarm 46% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. This is surprising given the star power involved and the directors, Albert and Allen Hughes, had previously worked on well-regarded films like From Hell, Dead Presidents, and Menace II Society. The script wasn’t the problem either, as it was penned by Gary Whitta, known for his excellent work on Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and The Walking Dead: A Telltale Game Series. Many believe the film simply arrived too early and didn’t find its audience at the time.

Many shonen anime try for grand finales, but the most memorable ones all share a common trait: they offer a satisfying sense of completion, especially when it comes to characters grappling with who they are and the sacrifices they make for their beliefs. These stories give viewers a rare feeling of resolution. Whether it’s through strong moral lessons, like in Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, or a focus on relatable human experiences, as seen in Mob Psycho 100, these anime prove that endings can be deeply moving and meaningful. They tie up all loose ends and stay true to the established world and characters.

In Hot Mother, a daughter and her mom head to a spa hoping to strengthen their bond. Their peaceful retreat quickly turns dangerous when they become trapped inside a sauna with no help in sight. They’ll have to work together to find a way out before time runs out.

As a lifelong movie fan, I’ve followed Spielberg’s career closely, and while he’s had a couple of films that didn’t quite land – things like 1941 and Hook come to mind – the sheer number of his successes really stands out. The Academy clearly agrees! His films have been nominated for an incredible 147 Oscars, and he’s actually won 25 of those. He’s been nominated nine times for Best Director, and took home the award for both Schindler’s List and Saving Private Ryan – truly deserving wins, in my opinion.

It’s a big claim to say any new anime or manga will reach the level of Berserk, I’ll admit that. But I’ve noticed a lot of striking similarities between Kagurabachi and Berserk, and those similarities suggest this new series has the potential to become a huge hit with fans who enjoy darker anime and manga. It feels like it’s on a path to something great.

The original Wife Swap highlighted the luxurious lives of the Housewives, which captivated viewers. This focus on glamour is less prominent in recent seasons of the show, and many believe it’s a contributing factor to why some series are temporarily off the air.

Netflix added the supernatural horror series NOS4A2 to its streaming service on October 29, 2025. The show, which first aired in 2019, is based on the 2013 novel of the same name by Joe Hill. Created by Jami O’Brien and starring Ashleigh Cummings and Zachary Quinto, it’s a great choice for fans of Stephen King.
