After the main events, a short scene after the credits shows three people visiting the original Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. They’re looking for props to use in a haunted house and stumble upon the broken Springlock Bonnie suit – the one William Afton (played by Matthew Lillard) died in during the first movie – and decide to take it with them.
As a huge fan, I’ve been following the Venom movies since 2018, and it looks like things are changing! Despite becoming a beloved cult film over time, Silent Night, Deadly Night was initially met with criticism and poor reviews in the 1980s. It currently has a 53% rating on Rotten Tomatoes from critics, and an even lower 40% audience score.
Zack Snyder was chosen to lead a new series of DC Comics movies, starting with his 2013 film Man of Steel starring Henry Cavill. That Superman movie had a darker, more realistic tone, which became the standard for the emerging DC Extended Universe (DCEU). Snyder was set to continue building the franchise with more standalone films and a two-part Justice League story. Unfortunately, those plans changed, largely because fans didn’t respond well to his next film, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, despite its box office success. Similar to Zack Snyder’s Justice League, the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition is a much-improved director’s cut that wasn’t released in theaters.
The crew grew apart from Billy Butcher as he fully became “Joe Kessler,” embracing his newfound superpowers. He violently killed Victoria Neuman and vowed to wipe out all supes with a dangerous virus he’d obtained. Butcher then drove off alone, appearing headed for a violent and likely fatal confrontation.
Josh O’Connor delivers another quietly powerful performance in “The Mastermind” (following “Rebuilding,” which is also worth seeing). He plays J.B. Mooney, a jobless father of two in the quiet Massachusetts town of Framingham. The film is set in 1970, and the rising opposition to the Vietnam War provides a key backdrop to the story. This historical detail not only captures the mood of the time but also mirrors J.B.’s personal struggles.
The pairing of Robert Pattinson and Zendaya is incredibly exciting, and their upcoming film is already generating a lot of buzz. While details about The Drama are still scarce, many believe it could be a standout movie from A24. Check out the first look at these two stars together below!
The first movie in a superhero series often focuses on explaining the hero’s beginnings, which can be a bit less thrilling than what comes next. Later movies in the series usually ramp up the action, introduce more interesting characters, and really take the story to new heights – and that’s exactly what happened with these excellent sequels.
Prime Video’s Merv aims to be a heartwarming story about second chances. Created by Jessica Swale, Dane Clark, and Linsey Stewart, the film really wants audiences to hope for a reconciliation between Zooey Deschanel’s Anna and Charlie Cox’s Russ, all for the sake of their sad dog, whom they continue to co-parent. However, despite some appealing moments, the movie is so predictable and cautious that it feels somewhat condescending to the viewer.
The new movie follows a detective accused of his wife’s murder. He has just 90 minutes to convince the highly intelligent A.I. judge – a system he previously supported – that he’s innocent, or face the consequences.
