Paramount+ has ordered a final, six-episode season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, which will begin airing after the premiere of season 3 in June 2025. Filming for season 4 was completed in mid-2025, and it’s scheduled to launch on Paramount+ in 2026, followed by season 5 in 2027.

This format let creators build stories with more emotional impact, a faster pace, and richer themes than were often possible on traditional TV.
