While the Harry Potter series may feel familiar and bring back fond memories for many, it’s worth exploring other fantastic fantasy novels. There are plenty of excellent books, including those with magical school settings, that were actually published before the Harry Potter books, and it’s becoming harder to ignore the issues surrounding the author. It’s a good time to discover new worlds and authors in the fantasy genre.

I just got a look at the premise of this new game, and it’s really compelling. It centers around Kratos and his son, Atreus, as they travel together to scatter the ashes of their loved one, Faye. But it’s more than just a journey; it’s about a father trying to shape his son into a worthy god, and a son trying to help his father reconnect with his humanity. It sounds like a really powerful dynamic, and I’m already invested in seeing how their relationship unfolds.

Earlier in the season, we learn that Steph Harper (Annabel O’Hagan) has a Canadian passport – specifically, one from a region formerly part of Canada now under U.S. control – a secret discovered by Chet (Dave Register). The episode begins with a flashback showing how Steph first arrived at the Vault, including a reference to the Canadian national anthem.

Sex Criminals is a comic book series from Image Comics, created by writer Matt Fraction and artist Chip Zdarsky. It began in 2013 and continued for 31 issues, collected into six volumes. The story follows a couple who find they can freeze time during sex, and they decide to use this power to commit bank robberies.

Both Dave Bautista and Jason Momoa are known for their roles in superhero films. Bautista previously battled James Bond, and Momoa went up against Dominic Toretto. While Trevor seems to be helping Simon, it’s revealed he’s secretly working with the Department of Damage Control to monitor Simon and stay out of prison. The situation gets even more complicated when Simon demonstrates some powerful and potentially dangerous abilities, which is exactly why Trevor was sent to watch him in the first place.

I’m so excited to share that Landman is officially the most popular show on Paramount+ in the US, according to FlixPatrol! It’s not just a hit here either – it’s cracked the top ten in an incredible 28 countries and is currently number three on the worldwide streaming charts. It’s really taking the world by storm, and I can’t wait to see where it goes next!

A recent report from Daniel Richtman indicates that Damson Idris is being considered for a role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and has met with Marvel Studios about it. While a decision is expected soon, it’s unclear when we’ll find out if he’s been cast.

Everyone agrees that Station Eleven is a fantastic show. It has a 98% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and was nominated for seven Emmy Awards – an unusual achievement for a short-run science fiction series. Year after year, new viewers find it on streaming services and are amazed they didn’t see it when it originally aired on HBO Max in 2021, realizing it’s truly exceptional.

I’ve seen a lot of Game of Thrones spinoffs, and honestly, House of the Dragon seems to be falling into the same traps as the original series. That’s why I was absolutely thrilled to hear that a truly fantastic fantasy book series is finally getting a TV adaptation – it feels like exactly what we needed to move past the issues Game of Thrones had.
