A detective (Richard Jenkins, from Step Brothers) informs someone that they introduced the victim to DTF St. Louis, and now that person is dead. The detective and Special Crimes agent Jodie Plumb (Joy Sunday, from Wednesday) then go to interview the victim’s wife, Carol (Linda Cardellini, from Dead to Me). As the investigation progresses, it’s revealed that Carol and another man, Clark, were having an affair and might be connected to the death. The series, created by Steven Conrad (Ultra City Smiths), also stars Chris Perfetti (Abbott Elementary) and Peter Sarsgaard (The Batman).

Soon after the highly praised second season of The Pitt began airing in 2026, I noticed a quick scene featuring the new doctor, Dr. Baran Al-Hashimi (played by Sepideh Moafi). She mentioned a new AI program designed to help with medical charting, potentially reducing workload and improving patient care. While it sounds promising, I have a nagging feeling that something isn’t right.

The new series Wonder Man, starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Simon Williams, isn’t your typical superhero story. It’s more of a comedy that pokes fun at the movie business. Because of this focus on Hollywood satire, the show is full of references to other films. However, according to showrunner Andrew Guest, one of those references accidentally contradicts established Marvel storylines.

Based on the popular adult fantasy novel by Cynthia Hand, Brodi Ashton, and Jodi Meadows, this lively adaptation is a fun watch – perfect for a January binge, and all wrapped up in just eight episodes.

This recent success could draw more viewers to the Oscars, where the film is nominated for “Best Song” and “Best Animated Feature.” Although it’s the clear frontrunner, the Oscars have seen surprising wins before. There are actually two critically acclaimed films – one of which was a major box office hit – that could potentially win those awards instead.

Studio Ghibli recently released an official “Fire Demon Coach Jacket” created in partnership with Russell Athletic. The jacket was made with international fans in mind and features the title “Howl’s Moving Castle” in large English letters on the back. The sleeves showcase Calcifer, the charming and fiery demon who powers Howl’s castle. You can see official photos of the jacket below.

I initially avoided watching Season 3 for a specific reason, but I decided to watch it all at once anyway, especially with the new season of Bridgerton coming up. Now that Benedict is taking center stage, I’m hoping his love story will address that issue and make me invest in his relationship as much as I did with Anthony and Kate.

This platform has quickly become a favorite place to discover excellent sci-fi series, especially with so much content available now. Many of the shows released here aren’t just good—they’re truly among the best.

On January 28th, the movie The Frozen Ground ranked eighth on Tubi’s most popular list. It outperformed Geostorm and Martin Lawrence’s Blue Streak, which came in ninth and tenth place, respectively. The Frozen Ground was behind several other films, including The Fifth Element and Twin, with the Tubi original film taking the top spot.

While every shot in the Lord of the Rings trilogy is visually stunning, Viggo Mortensen has a clear favorite scene. He recently told Empire magazine that it involves Boromir’s death – a moment many fans remember vividly. Mortensen revealed the scene was initially going to be very complicated, but Sean Bean streamlined it, making it powerfully simple.
