Earlier this month, the movie “Superman,” produced by DC Studios and Warner Bros. Pictures, directed by James Gunn, hit theaters in the United States. In this film, David Corenswet portrays the main character Superman, Rachel Brosnahan plays Lois Lane, and Nicholas Hoult takes on the role of Lex Luthor.
In the initial couple of episodes, we see Conrad devoting a significant amount of time to his summer job, as he harbors unresolved feelings for Belly. Despite these emotions, he remains restrained due to respect for his brother, Jeremiah.
In the marketing campaign for Superman, there was a strong emphasis on the Justice Gang, a group of powerful beings who defend Metropolis (and the world) from extraterrestrial dangers. Though some might perceive them as an imitation of the Justice League in the movie, Superman subtly suggested that this team has a secret past connected to the Justice Society of America. This connection is hinted at through a mural in their current base, the Hall of Justice.
The discussion started when Morena Baccarin mentioned on Inside of You that she was preparing to film 20 episodes of Sheriff Country. This prompted the host, who has experience with network TV, to inquire if accepting the project was a challenging choice. To which, the actress replied:
You can currently watch the first two seasons of “Sullivan’s Crossing,” a drama inspired by Robyn Carr’s novel series, similar to her work on “Virgin River.” This show also features Chad Michael Murray, Tom Jackson, Andrea Menard, and Scott Patterson. Initially airing in Canada on CTV in early 2023, it later made its way to The CW in the United States later that year with a Netflix subscription providing access.
