It’s unknown what will cause him to reappear, but the initial trailer for Avengers: Doomsday suggests his story will continue after he began a new life in another timeline with Peggy Carter. It seems he’ll have to leave that life behind – at least for now – to fight Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom.
