As a longtime viewer, I always felt “All Good Things…” was a bit of a strange way to end The Next Generation. It worked as a two-parter, sure, but never really felt like a proper finale. Thankfully, Picard’s final season stepped in to give us the ending fans had been hoping for since the ’90s. Instead of a rushed two-parter, we got a full ten episodes to really say goodbye to these characters – and honestly, it was worth the nearly thirty-year wait.

Darth Maul quickly became a fan favorite when he appeared in The Phantom Menace. Everything about him – his striking, villainous appearance, unique dual-bladed lightsaber, impressive fighting skills, and the intimidating presence brought by Ray Park – resonated with audiences. After Obi-Wan defeated him by cutting him in half, many worried that Maul would be gone for good from the Star Wars galaxy.

The Harry Potter movies are some of the most beloved films ever made, so fans always hoped the Wizarding World would continue beyond the original series. That continuation first came with the Fantastic Beasts films starring Eddie Redmayne. However, because the Fantastic Beasts movies didn’t perform well at the box office, plans for future films were cancelled.

Lucasfilm’s animators have truly outdone themselves with their new Disney+ series, “Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord.” The 10-episode show builds on the visual style of “The Clone Wars” but introduces a bold new color scheme, dramatic lighting, and atmospheric shadows to match its darker, more intense story. It’s a beautiful series to watch, and it offers much more than just stunning visuals.

The new Star Wars comic, Maul — Shadow Lord, has received perfect scores on Rotten Tomatoes and has already been renewed for a second season by Disney. The story picks up a year after the Clone Wars, following Darth Maul as he secretly builds a criminal empire under the rule of the Galactic Empire.

Michael Chiklis shared that after the first Fantastic Four movie did well, there was talk of a spin-off featuring a fight between his character, The Thing, and Hulk. Unfortunately, the idea didn’t get very far and was abandoned following the release of Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.

Now that Georgie and Mandy are building a family with the McAllisters in Medford, the new show, a spin-off of The Big Bang Theory, sometimes feels like a continuation of the original series, especially after Young Sheldon ended. We’ve seen other members of the Cooper family in Texas appear in several storylines, most recently focusing on Missy’s adventurous teenage years and her relationships. While Georgie’s sister, Mary, and Pastor Jeff have played important roles in season 2 of Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, one familiar face is still missing from the guest cast.

According to a recent report in The Ankler (shared by Cosmic Book News), there’s some restlessness within Amazon Prime Video as people wait to see how new head of global television, Peter Friedlander, will change the platform’s original TV shows. While Friedlander has only been in the role for under a year, the entertainment industry moves fast, and with frequent changes in leadership at Amazon’s streaming service, there’s a desire to see progress quickly.

Sources say the Mass Effect TV series is being creatively reworked with Peter Friedlander, the head of television at Amazon MGM Studios, now leading the project.
