I’m really excited about the new Smokescreen figure from Transformers: Age of the Primes! It’s designed with a look that pulls from the 2010s cartoon, but with a cool, classic Generation 1 vibe. We’re finally getting toy images, and it’s awesome to see so many different versions of Autobots from across the Transformers universe in this toy line. It’s especially cool because there’s been a lot of interest lately – both from Hasbro and other companies – in releasing different versions of the Datsun Autobots!

Despite some sci-fi films that didn’t quite hit the mark, like The Island and Ghost in the Shell, one of Scarlett Johansson’s best, and most overlooked, sci-fi movies deserves another look. Lucy, released in 2014, hasn’t gotten the appreciation it deserves, and it’s a shame because it’s a truly exciting film that viewers should revisit.

As a movie fan, I have to say ‘Whistle’ had potential. It’s based on a short story by Owen Egerton, who also wrote the screenplay, and the core idea is actually pretty smart. But honestly, it felt like it was built on a bunch of horror clichés. The setting – a typical high school – and the way the characters came across felt really shallow. And there was one character choice that was just… unbelievable! All of this kept the movie from being truly scary, engaging, original, or even making much sense, to be honest.
