5 Near-Perfect Netflix Movies You Likely Skipped

Netflix has a huge library of movies and shows, but its original films and series are often the highlights. While many Netflix originals have gained a dedicated following, here are 5 particularly well-made films you might have missed.

The 20 Smartest Comedy Movies Ever Made

We’re showcasing comedies that are both funny and clever – some of the smartest films ever created. Featuring talented directors and actors from throughout film history, these movies offer plenty of laughs alongside thoughtful moments.

Apple TV’s F1 Sequel Update Is a Big Mistake

Apple TV is now the official home for Formula 1 races in the United States, as announced at a recent event in Santa Monica. Apple’s Eddy Cue and Formula 1 CEO Stefano Domenicali discussed the possibility of a follow-up movie, with Domenicali hinting that one could be in the works, but not for next year. While another F1 film might seem appealing, some worry it could diminish the impact of the first movie – a surprise hit that greatly benefited both Hollywood and the sport of racing.

Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die Review: Sam Rockwell’s Latest Sci-Fi Movie Hits Hard

I was initially hesitant, but I quickly became invested in the small group of characters at the heart of this film. As their stories unfolded, it became clear why we should care about them. The movie really digs into how phones and social media have taken over our lives – you know, that endless scrolling in the morning and how it’s replaced actual conversations. The main idea is pretty straightforward: we desperately need to reconnect with each other. It drives the point home in a really bold way, even turning addicted phone users into zombies – it’s a bit of an over-the-top joke, but honestly, it felt uncomfortably real.

This 26-Year-Old Loose End Gives The Baldur’s Gate Show The Perfect Candidate For The First Live-Action Drow

It’s likely we’ll see a live-action Drow character on screen soon. With two upcoming TV series based on the Forgotten Realms – one on Netflix and another continuing the story of Baldur’s Gate 3 on HBO Max – the chances are much higher than they were in the movie Honor Among Thieves. These shows will have more time to delve into that world, making a Drow appearance more probable.

‘The Mummy 4’: Release Date, Cast, Plot & Everything We Know

For years, fans have hoped Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz would return as Rick and Evelyn O’Connell. Now, Universal Pictures has officially announced a new Mummy movie! This fourth film in the series, which we’ll refer to as The Mummy 4, is scheduled for release in the summer and will be directed by the team behind the successful revival of a 90s horror franchise. Best of all, Fraser and Weisz are confirmed to reprise their roles. Here’s everything we know so far about the upcoming movie.

Law & Order: SVU Fan-Favorite Character Officially Returns After Series Exit

I’m a huge fan of the Law & Order franchise, and I was so excited when they brought back a show focused on the Special Victims Unit! It originally starred Christopher Meloni as Elliot Stabler, but after he left, Mariska Hargitay as Captain Olivia Benson really stepped up as the heart of the team. Ice-T is fantastic as Sergeant Fin Tutuola, and together with Kelli Giddish, Peter Scanavino, and Kevin Kane, they make up this incredible group of detectives who tackle really tough cases – things like sexual assault, child abuse, and domestic violence. They’re a truly dedicated team.

Disney’s Eragon TV Show: Combining House of the Dragon & How to Train Your Dragon

I absolutely loved getting into Christopher Paolini’s Inheritance Cycle! It all starts with Eragon, where this fifteen-year-old farm boy, Eragon, finds a dragon egg, and it hatches! He and the dragon, Saphira, become bonded, making him the first Dragon Rider in ages. Of course, that puts him right in the crosshairs of the evil King Galbatorix, and suddenly Eragon’s thrown into this incredible adventure across a huge fantasy world. It’s a really captivating story!
