At New York Comic Con on October 11th, Paramount+ released the first official trailer for the new series, *Starfleet Academy*, and announced its premiere date: January 15, 2026. In a quick, seemingly unimportant line of dialogue, Nye’s character subtly connects the worlds of *Blindspot* and *Stargate: Atlantis*, suggesting they exist within the same universe.
