Arty Froushan Endorsed by Daredevil Co-Star as Next James Bond

While a 26th James Bond film is rumored to be in the works, there’s no official word yet on who will play the next 007. One actor currently appearing in the series Daredevil: Born Again has been suggested by fans, and one of his co-stars has already voiced their support.

Arty Froushan, who plays Buck Cashman in the upcoming Daredevil: Born Again series—the right-hand man to Wilson Fisk (played by Vincent D’Onofrio)—was recently featured in a social media post. A fan on X (formerly Twitter) shared a picture of Froushan with a handgun next to a photo of James Bond, captioning it “hear me out.” D’Onofrio responded simply with, “I agree.” Many other fans have also expressed their approval of the show’s casting choices, with one commenting that the connection “makes perfect sense.”

James Bond Will Be Reintroduced for the 26th Movie

Andrew Froushan is known for his roles in several popular series and films. He played Jonah Breakspear in the fantasy series Carnival Row and Ser Qarl Correy in House of the Dragon, where he was Laenor Velaryon’s lover. He also appeared as Noel Coward in last year’s Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale. Froushan is currently working on the thriller Soulm8te, connected to the M3GAN universe, and will soon star as Patrick Bateman in a stage adaptation of American Psycho.

We’ve heard so many names tossed around over the last few years, but nothing’s been confirmed yet. For a while, everyone thought Aaron Taylor-Johnson was a frontrunner, but we haven’t had any official word about him joining James Bond 26, despite the buzz around his role in Kraven the Hunter. Other actors like Jacob Elordi, Callum Turner, Harrison Dickinson, Theo James, and Damson Idris have also been mentioned as possible contenders.

Will Arty Froushan Be the Next James Bond?

Sean Connery was the original James Bond in the movies. After him, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan, and Daniel Craig all played the iconic spy. Daniel Craig’s final Bond film, No Time to Die, released in 2021, concluded his five-movie run in the role.

We can probably expect news about who will star in the movie soon. Last summer, reports indicated that Denis Villeneuve, the director of Dune, was lined up to direct, working from a script by Steven Knight, who created Peaky Blinders. Right now, it’s hard to say exactly where the project stands – we don’t know when filming will begin or when the movie will be released in theaters.
