The new series, The Studio, created by Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, Peter Huyck, Alex Gregory, and Frida Perez, follows the head of a fictional movie studio who’s torn between making meaningful films and the pressures of a profit-driven industry focused on established franchises. The show stars Seth Rogen, alongside Ike Barinholtz, Chase Sui Wonders, and Kathryn Hahn. The late, beloved actor O’Hara appears as Matt’s mentor and former boss, Patty Leigh.

The main cast of The Studio includes Bryan Cranston, David Krumholtz, Dave Franco, Zoë Kravitz, Nicholas Stoller, Matthew Belloni, Dewayne Perkins, and Keyla Monterroso Mejia. What Does the Future Look Like for Apple TV’s The Studio?

During the recent Golden Globes ceremony in early January, Seth Rogen mentioned that the show included references to events that had happened recently. He also revealed they were scheduled to begin filming a new project around January 18th.

We also talked about a possible reunion on Season 2 of The Studio, and Seth Rogen even suggested Rose Byrne could appear as herself on the show. Byrne mentioned her husband, Bobby Cannavale, almost joined the cast previously, but it didn’t happen. However, she added that he’s now receiving many offers for the show this time around.

The Studio is currently available for streaming on Apple TV. Season 2 doesn’t have a release date.
