After a ten-year wait, fans of NCIS finally saw Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David reunite in the series NCIS: Tony & Ziva. However, the reunion was brief, as the show was cancelled after only one season last month. Disappointed fans haven’t accepted the cancellation and have started a campaign to bring the Paramount+ series back, and they’re continuing to show their support with positive energy.
Fans launched a campaign to revive the characters Tony and Ziva about a week after the show’s cancellation was announced. Recently, @NCISTivaFans shared that a truck is driving around Paris, France, displaying the message “Save Tony And Ziva” along with a QR code. You can check it out here:
Even if this campaign doesn’t convince Paramount+ to renew NCIS: Tony & Ziva for a second season, it’s inspiring to see such a dedicated fan go to great lengths – even driving around Paris – to support the show. The positive reactions to this post on X are also wonderful, with many people using the hashtag to show their support.

- Thank you so much for all you are doing. I’m proud to be a part of this amazing fandom. Hopefully [CBS] and [Paramount+] will figure it out soon. – @Carol_L_Mitch
This recent fan campaign to save NCIS: Tony & Ziva follows a similar effort that successfully brought back NCIS: Hawai’i after its cancellation. While many fans expressed disappointment about the show not getting a second season, most understood the reasons behind the decision. Some felt it had been too long since Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo last appeared together on NCIS, making a continuation difficult. Others believed releasing the spin-off on Paramount+ instead of CBS, where the other NCIS shows air, was a mistake.
While it’s disappointing that NCIS: Tony & Ziva Season 1 is over, at least it didn’t leave viewers with a lot of unresolved storylines. Fan campaigns have saved shows before, so I hope this series gets a second chance – a sentiment Michael Weatherly also expressed recently. As for the NCIS shows still on the air – the original series, Origins, and Sydney – they’ll return to TV on Tuesday, February 24, 2026.
