All 3 Marvel Heroes In Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Ranked By Threat Level

I’m so hyped for the first trailer of Spider-Man: Brand New Day! It looks like we’re getting a really raw and intense look at how Peter Parker interacts with some seriously powerful, but unpredictable, heroes. Tom Holland is back as Spider-Man, facing off against some amazing villains, but it’s not just about the bad guys. The trailer really hints that even the people who could help him might end up causing trouble, which is making things way more exciting!

The heroes in Brand New Day range from ordinary people taking the law into their own hands to incredibly powerful beings. How dangerous each hero is depends on the situation, how well they control their abilities, and what they intend to do with them. The trailer suggests that each hero poses a different level of threat as the story unfolds.

The Punisher

While Frank Castle, also known as the Punisher, is known for being incredibly tough, he doesn’t pose as much of a danger as some other Marvel heroes. A recent trailer for Brand New Day hints that Spider-Man and the Punisher already know each other – Spider-Man even calls him Frank! This existing relationship probably makes the Punisher’s actions more predictable, even if he is, as in the comics, aiming to fight Spider-Man.

Honestly, what I love about the Punisher is that he’s just a man. He doesn’t have any superpowers or anything like that – he’s not super strong or able to take endless punishment. He wins fights because he’s incredibly skilled with weapons, a brilliant tactician, and has an unbelievable amount of determination. It’s his grit and training, not any special abilities, that make him so effective.

The Punisher is frightening to ordinary criminals, but his methods make him weak against enemies with superpowers. Even so, his appearance in Brand New Day creates a sense of unease. Unlike Spider-Man, the Punisher acts without hesitation or restraint, ignoring any moral limits. This difference in approach can quickly make things worse, regardless of his physical strength.

Spider-Man

Peter Parker, also known as Spider-Man, is a powerful but not invincible hero. He remains a top contender thanks to his strength, speed, and spider-sense. The latest previews hint he’s evolving, possibly gaining new abilities and undergoing changes.

Spider-Man, despite his amazing powers, isn’t unbeatable, which prevents him from being the absolute strongest hero. He usually needs a plan, some preparation, and helpful technology to defeat really dangerous villains. The fact that he might one day have to fight someone like the Hulk shows how vulnerable he can be.

Surviving a difficult encounter would require Peter to be well-prepared, mindful of his surroundings, and maybe even use some advanced technology. However, Spider-Man’s real strength is his ability to think on his feet. He consistently overcomes challenges that seem beyond his capabilities, and he’s the one you’d expect to come up with a clever solution to a seemingly unsolvable problem. This resourcefulness makes him a greater threat than someone like the Punisher, even though he doesn’t rely on sheer physical power.

Hulk (Bruce Banner)

Okay, so right away, the trailer for Brand New Day establishes Hulk as the biggest threat. Seriously, just seeing him instantly makes you think this movie is going to have some massive, city-leveling action. What’s really interesting is that they show Bruce Banner wearing some kind of device to control the Hulk – which suggests things aren’t going to be simple, and keeping him contained is going to be a major plot point. It definitely sets up a really high stakes situation!

It’s unclear if Hulk will actually show up. If the device functions reliably and Bruce Banner is simply assisting Spider-Man, it would greatly diminish Hulk’s danger, potentially making him the least threatening hero on the Brand New Day team. But that’s a big assumption. The instant Hulk appears, everything changes and he becomes a major threat again.

When Hulk is truly enraged, he’s the biggest threat in the movie, and maybe even the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe. He can defeat almost anyone and causes massive destruction. While Spider-Man has beaten Hulk in the comics, it always took incredibly powerful, outside help. Because of this, Hulk is the most dangerous hero in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
