Ultimately, all the pre-show talk won’t matter when the awards are presented on Sunday, especially when it comes to Best Picture. The competition has really come down to two films: Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another and Ryan Coogler’s Sinners, and recent awards from critics’ groups and guilds have consistently highlighted those two as the frontrunners.
