Firefly‘s return feels closer than ever.
As a huge sci-fi fan, I still get upset thinking about Firefly. It was brilliant, but tragically cancelled after just 14 episodes. Luckily, we got the movie Serenity in 2005, which was a fantastic way to wrap things up and felt just as good as the show itself. But honestly, it’s been years, and we’re still hoping for another series to continue the story!
There’s growing hope that the beloved sci-fi show Firefly might return! Considered one of the greatest sci-fi series ever, a revival has always made sense. Actor Nathan Fillion, known for his role in Firefly, has been hinting at something big by gradually reuniting the original cast on social media. Now, after a series of teasers, another popular cast member has joined the effort.
Nathan Fillion posted a video on Instagram showing him getting Alan Tudyk hyped up for the upcoming Firefly news.
The new video is just as hilarious as their previous ones, showing Nathan Fillion playfully refusing to participate until Alan Tudyk agrees to a slap. Fans were initially concerned about Tudyk’s role in the Firefly announcement, considering his character, Wash, died in Serenity. Thankfully, it appears that won’t be an issue after all.
