Be warned! This article contains spoilers from the recent episode of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way titled “Déjà vu.” If you haven’t watched it yet, you can stream it on HBO Max, but proceed with caution!
I didn’t pay much attention to Chloe Fabiano and Jonathan “Johny” Fernandes when 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way first started airing, but the most recent episode really made me notice them. While Chloe’s fear of using a stove was a little annoying, I’m now genuinely concerned about their relationship after seeing her spy on Johny.
If you’ve been following the show, you know Johny works on a tourist boat in Aruba – that’s actually where Chloe’s fiancé works. The problem is, Johny meets lots of new women every day, and while that’s worrying, Chloe’s behavior in the recent episode felt really inappropriate for someone in a committed relationship.
Chloe Hid In A Tree To Spy On Johny At Work
Johny asked Chloe to turn off location sharing on his phone, which understandably seemed a little strange to her. Despite her initial reaction, she agreed, and he felt like she was showing him more trust and confidence in their relationship.
While filming 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, Chloe revealed that the story wasn’t accurate and actually spent the night with a friend, hiding in a tree to observe Johny during his entire work shift. This behavior is surprisingly more concerning than when Ariela Weinberg witnessed Biniyam Shibre performing with his ex-girlfriend – and that’s quite a statement considering what happened then.
Should Someone Who Doesn’t Trust Their Partner Move To Another Country And Marrying Them?
It’s common to see couples from 90 Day Fiancé get divorced, so I feel compelled to say something when I see a relationship heading for trouble before they even get married. Chloe is planning a big life change – moving to Aruba and giving up a secure job her mother helped her get – all to be with someone she admits she doesn’t fully trust. It just doesn’t seem like a solid foundation for a lasting relationship.
More On 90 Day Fiancé

The ongoing conflict between Loren and Libby on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After would likely be resolved if either of them simply acknowledged one key issue.
I mentioned Ariela and Biniyam before because their relationship faced similar problems with trust and cheating. Biniyam had been unfaithful in the past, and as soon as he had a little independence, Ariela started to suspect him again.
I’m worried Chloe will always doubt Johny, even if her concerns aren’t justified, and their relationship will be plagued by mistrust. That’s no way to live or build a strong marriage, so I hope they both carefully consider things and make the right choice before the current season of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way is over.

HBO Max offers streaming access to a vast library of content, including DC Comics properties (like the DCU, DCEU, and classic titles) and the popular show 90 Day Fiancé. Subscriptions begin at $9.99 per month for the Basic With Ads plan. See the deal here.
New episodes of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way air on TLC Mondays at 8 p.m. Eastern. This season, we’ll follow Johny and Chloe to see if they can build trust and make their relationship work before getting married.
