Marvel is introducing a new character in an upcoming project designed for younger viewers. He’ll be appearing in Marvel’s Iron Man and His Awesome Friends.
I just got a sneak peek at how Hawkeye is being introduced in the new animated series for little kids, and it’s so cute! Nick A. Fisher is doing the voice, which is awesome. He’ll first appear in an episode called ‘The Tale of Hawkeye’ this Friday on Disney Junior, and then it’ll be available on Disney+ starting November 12th. The clip they showed has Hawkeye joining forces with all the other heroes, bow and arrows and everything! It looks like a lot of fun.
“Name’s Hawkeye!” he announces confidently, aiming an arrow and glaring as Iron Man and the others come closer. “I’d really like to talk, but I have to run.” He quickly tries to leave, but the heroes fly after him and fill him in on their newest assignment.
So, Hawkeye was telling everyone they found arrows just like his at all the crime scenes! It really looked like he was the one doing the stealing, but he just brushed off the accusations like it was nothing. Honestly, he seemed totally unbothered by it all.
“It wasn’t me! I’m the one after the real thief!” he shouted as he kept running. Iron Man and his partners trailed behind, determined to assist him in uncovering who actually committed the crime, as the scene ended.
The new Disney Jr. show, Iron Man and His Awesome Friends, launched on August 11th with ten episodes available right away. The series centers on the exciting adventures of a group of super-smart best friends: a young Tony Stark (voiced by Mason Blomberg) leads the team, along with Ironheart (Kapri Ladd) and Iron Hulk (Aidyn Ahn).
Iron Man and his friends have exciting adventures in preschool where they work together to solve problems and keep their city safe. They use their special Iron Suits, which let them fly and give them super strength! Along the way, they’ve teamed up with other Marvel heroes like Hawkeye, Vision, Black Panther, and Iron Spider. They’ve also faced off against tricky villains like Ultron, the Absorbing Man, and Swarm.
Marvel’s Disney Jr. Series Prove Popular with Young Superhero Fans
Many longtime Marvel fans know Hawkeye from the comics or the Avengers movies. But Iron Man and His Awesome Friends is introducing the character to a new, younger audience. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige recently shared that Spidey and His Amazing Friends has been a huge hit on Disney+, and early signs suggest the Iron Man series is proving just as popular.
According to Feige, children are already familiar with these characters and will continue to enjoy them as they get older. Iron Man and His Awesome Friends is starting to connect with other series, with two crossover episodes planned: one that aired in October and a Halloween special scheduled for 2026.
You can watch the ‘Tale of Hawkeye’ episode of Iron Man and His Awesome Friends on Disney+ starting November 12th.
