Want to be among the first to play a stunning new fantasy RPG? You can sign up now to test Gods, Death & Reapers on Steam! Just log into your Steam account and request access. The developers at Wolcen Studios will email you when they accept more testers for the 2026 release.
You can also apply for the Wolcen playtest directly on their website. Just sign up using your Discord or Steam account, complete a short questionnaire, and agree to the non-disclosure agreement (NDA) to be considered for access.
The game has been tested by a limited group of players for several months, and as a result, you can find a good amount of gameplay footage online. For instance, YouTuber ENFANT TERRIBLE recently posted a detailed 45-minute video showing what Gods, Death & Reapers is like to play.

This Game Has Real God Of War Vibes
Gods, Death & Reapers is a dark fantasy role-playing game with a top-down perspective, drawing inspiration from games like God of War and Baldur’s Gate 3. The game is set in a detailed world based on Norse mythology, featuring several distinct realms. It’s a unique ‘ExtrAction RPG’ offering various ways to play: player-versus-player-versus-environment, a story-driven campaign, or cooperative multiplayer where you can team up with others to find valuable items and restore order to a broken world.
We have two playtests scheduled for Gods, Death & Reapers: one on Thursday, April 30th, and another on Monday, May 4th. We recommend signing up quickly using the methods mentioned earlier, as spots are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
