She joked that the director, Swanberg, waited until the very last minute to tell her about it. But she also said he made it clear she didn’t have to actually operate the machinery if she wasn’t comfortable, which was good to hear.

Fanning always welcomes a good challenge, so she mastered operating the bulldozer, making her performance believable and natural on screen. The production team, however, prioritized safety and kept everyone a safe distance away whenever she was driving.
