Reacher Star Alan Ritchson Caught Allegedly Beating Up Neighbor On Video

Alan Ritchson, the lead actor in Reacher, is dealing with a personal situation that feels like something straight out of the action-packed series he stars in.

As a movie and TV fan, I’m going to be seeing a lot of this actor on my screen this year! He was great in that Netflix film, War Machine, which a ton of people watched, and he’s bringing back his popular character Jack Reacher for season four of Reacher. But right now, he’s making news for something completely unexpected.

TMZ published a video showing actor Joe Ritchson involved in a dispute with a neighbor. Ronnie Taylor, who claims to be the victim, says the problem started on Saturday when Ritchson rode his Kawasaki motorcycle through their Nashville neighborhood. Taylor alleges Ritchson was speeding, making a lot of noise with the engine, and disturbing the peace. Taylor admits to flipping off Ritchson, and claims the actor responded in kind.

Taylor claims that around noon on Sunday, Ritchson drove through the neighborhood again, speeding as before. This time, Ritchson had two children riding their own motorcycles with him. Taylor says he directly asked Ritchson to stop, using strong language, and that a physical fight quickly broke out. You can see the fight in the TMZ video linked below.

Taylor claims he told the police that Ritchson punched and kicked him. He also stated that Ritchson fell off his motorcycle, got back up, and then tried to hit him with the vehicle.

Taylor claims Ritchson struck him in the back of the head, alleging the actor hit him multiple times – at least four, according to Taylor – causing bruises and swelling. Taylor also states Ritchson drove him, but he didn’t seek medical attention at a hospital.

TMZ reports, citing sources near Ritchson, that he didn’t start the fight. These sources say Taylor pushed Ritchson off his bike twice before the altercation caught on video.

According to witnesses, Ritchson was riding his motorcycle with his two children on minibikes Sunday afternoon when a man, Taylor, ran into the street and tried to stop him. This caused Ritchson to crash his motorcycle and suffer minor injuries like cuts and bruises.

According to reports, Taylor challenged Ritchson to attack him, even shouting at the actor while he was down. Ritchson allegedly first tried to avoid a confrontation by riding away on his bike, but Taylor pushed him to the ground, escalating the situation and ultimately leading to the physical altercation seen in the video.

Police are looking into an incident involving actors Alan Ritchson and Taylor. So far, no one has been arrested, and it’s unclear if this will affect Ritchson’s future work, including the fourth season of Reacher. That season is expected to premiere on Prime Video later this year, but a release date hasn’t been set yet.
