
Marvel Studios is making some tweaks to its plans for Phase 7, which could help clarify the overall direction of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Even with two massive upcoming movies, Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars, Marvel isn’t stopping there. While they’re still developing the details for what comes after 2027, things are starting to come into focus.
According to The Wrap, Marvel Studios has shifted the release dates for several upcoming films. One movie previously scheduled for February 18, 2028, will now come out on July 28th – five months later.
Two more films have been scheduled for release in 2029, coming out on May 4th and July 13th. One previously planned movie, originally slated for November 10, 2028, has been removed from the release calendar.
Here’s the current Phase 7 release schedule, which includes five movies planned for theaters:
- May 5, 2028
- July 28, 2028
- December 15, 2028
- May 4, 2029
- July 13, 2029
