As a huge Star Wars fan, I was really excited to hear that Ubisoft is making a new video game set in that galaxy far, far away! They’re planning a full reveal next month, and honestly, I can’t wait to see what they’ve been working on.
What do we know about the new Star Wars video game?
Ubisoft is releasing a new version of Monopoly called Monopoly: Star Wars Heroes vs. Villains on June 11, 2026. This edition features team-based gameplay and will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, GeForce Now, and PC. A complete look at the game will be shown on April 29, 2026.
Monopoly: Star Wars Heroes vs. Villains, created by Behavior Interactive, brings the Star Wars universe to the classic Monopoly board game. The game features a custom board with famous locations from the Star Wars films and offers a fresh take on traditional Monopoly gameplay with exciting cinematic moments and dynamic elements throughout.
The game features a diverse selection of Star Wars characters, each with unique powers. It offers both online and local cooperative multiplayer modes for teams of two or three players. The official description highlights how this creates fast-paced, strategic battles where working together and choosing the right hero combinations are key to victory.
Each move in the game feels important, as ownership of properties can shift quickly. Unexpected events constantly shake things up, and players are always adapting their plans. Plus, with new surprises around every corner, it’s easy to get hooked and want to play just one more time.
We’ll share more details about the new game next month. Currently, we haven’t released an official trailer or gameplay video yet.
