MGM+ has become known for its original shows, and one series in particular has gained a lot of attention and praise. Originally released on Epix (which was rebranded as MGM+) in 2022, the show has quickly become a favorite among horror enthusiasts.
Created by John Griffin and featuring familiar faces from the TV show Lost – including Jack Bender, Jeff Pinkner, and Harold Perrineau – the sci-fi series From has left viewers with many unanswered questions over its three seasons. According to FlixPatrol, the show recently returned to the top spot on MGM+ as Season 4 approaches.
From Will Return for Season 4 in April
The recent success of ‘From’ isn’t a surprise. The show just dropped a trailer for its next season, hinting at even more frightening events, new characters, and the possible return of someone who died at the end of Season 3. With the new season approaching, fans are revisiting past episodes to refresh their memories.
Despite finishing its third season in November 2024 and not releasing new episodes in 2025 until production of the next season began that summer, the sci-fi show remained consistently popular. It continued to perform well on streaming platforms all year, and the strong anticipation for its return clearly demonstrates just how beloved it is.
The movie is available on MGM+ in the United States and has recently become popular again. It moved from fifth to second place on March 11th, and then reached the number one spot on March 13th, taking over the top position from another title.
What Happens in From Season 4?
Since it first came out, From has been a slow-burn series, taking its time to build the story. The basic idea is that the people in an unnamed town are trapped in a strange, inescapable place. But that’s not all they have to worry about – terrifying creatures also come out at night to terrorize them.
Season 3 had a complicated storyline, hinting at several reveals and relationships. Towards the end, it became clear that Tabitha, Jade, and Victor were more connected than viewers initially knew. Meanwhile, Tabitha’s husband, Jim, attempted to protect his family while on the run, but was ultimately killed by the mysterious Man in Yellow.
As the characters get closer to uncovering the truth in Season 4, the stakes become increasingly dangerous. They’re determined to identify the mysterious Man in Yellow and understand his motives, while also figuring out how Jade and Tabitha’s link to the town might finally allow them to escape.
The upcoming season will introduce two new characters, and MGM+ hinted that Season 4 will reveal secrets that some residents would have preferred to keep hidden. The show previously lost the character of Father Khatri in Season 1, and now introduces a new pastor. The trailer also suggests a connection between this new pastor and his son, Ethan, who may have seen his father—or something resembling him—in the woods, possibly as one of the mysterious figures warning people about the area.
