The popular show Big Little Lies has become quite a phenomenon, and viewers are eagerly awaiting news about the potential third season.
HBO’s Big Little Lies was a major hit, thanks to its impressive cast – featuring Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, Laura Dern, Shailene Woodley, Zoë Kravitz, and, later, Meryl Streep. The show tackled difficult subjects like domestic abuse in a compelling drama, and it was highly acclaimed, winning eight Emmy Awards and four Golden Globes.
David E. Kelley, the creator of the series, recently told USA Today at SXSW that filming for season 3 is expected to begin this fall. Nicole Kidman confirmed they were developing a third season in 2023, letting fans know it was in the works. Since then, both Kidman and Reese Witherspoon have been actively preparing for it, and Kelley shared his enthusiasm about the project.
Things are just beginning to come together, but it’s definitely moving forward and I’m really excited. We have a fantastic cast, which means we have a great chance to tell a compelling story. We’re currently on schedule to begin filming this fall.
