Both Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom were amazing Legend of Zelda games. They dramatically changed the way these games are made and moved the series in a bold new direction.
The game demonstrated incredible potential with its immersive open world and innovative features that encouraged exploration. Visually, it was stunning, especially considering the hardware’s limitations, and players soon found themselves spending countless hours simply enjoying the experience.
Even after years of traveling the world, many people might not realize it can be experienced in a completely new and stunning way.
Zelda: TOTK In First Person Is Beautiful
Nintendo
The Digital Dreams YouTube channel is popular for taking games and maximizing their graphics and visual quality, essentially making them look as beautiful as possible.
Now, they’ve successfully gotten Tears of the Kingdom running on computers using clever emulation techniques. And it doesn’t just run – it’s been upgraded to run in stunning 8K resolution with improved textures. But the most impressive change is that the game is now played from a first-person perspective, which looks incredible.
The game’s visuals are stunning, with a level of detail far exceeding what the Switch is capable of. Once you’ve seen it, it’s hard to imagine going back to the Switch version without noticing a significant downgrade.
As expected, the comments were overwhelmingly positive, and many people expressed interest in learning more. One commenter wrote, “Do you have a tutorial on how to set up ReShade? This looks fantastic!”
“Nintendo; make it happen! This makes it feel like a “New” Game!” another added.
What’s Next For The Zelda Series?
As a huge fan, I’ve been thinking… after we’ve all spent countless hours enjoying Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, everyone’s going to start wondering what Nintendo has planned for the Zelda series next. It’s just natural to start speculating!
We don’t know much about Nintendo’s next game, except that it’s coming. If we had to guess, it will probably have similar gameplay to what’s already popular, but with a new setting and map to keep things interesting.
We’ll just have to be patient and wait for official news about The Legend of Zelda directly from Nintendo.
