Silo Season 4 Gets Major Production Update As Rebecca Ferguson’s Juliette Prepares For Long-Awaited Return

Fans of Rebecca Ferguson’s popular post-apocalyptic series can look forward to more episodes in 2026, as production is progressing as planned.

The sci-fi series Silo debuted on Apple TV in 2023, with its second season airing from November 2024 to January 2025. Adapted from Hugh Howey’s dystopian book series, the show centers on Juliette, an engineer who lives in an underground silo to escape a poisoned world. As she investigates the truth about humanity’s past, she uncovers shocking secrets. Silo quickly became popular, and fans were eagerly anticipating Juliette’s next chapter.

Fans won’t have to wait much longer for more Silo! Apple TV announced on X (formerly Twitter) that filming for season 4 has finished. This news comes before season 3 even premieres. We can expect season 3 in mid-to-late 2026, and season 4, which will be the final season of the series, sometime in early 2027.

The television series Silo was created by Graham Yost and stars Common, Chinaza Uche, Harriet Walter, Tim Robbins, Avi Nash, and Remmie Milner. The second season ends with some mysteries being solved, but leaves viewers on a huge cliffhanger: Juliette and Bernard (Robbins) are stuck in a burning airlock inside Silo 18.

I’m so excited for what’s coming up for Hughie Ferguson! We’re wrapping up season four, and it feels like this is going to be a huge year for him. He’s already had two releases – Mercy, a really cool AI thriller, and Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man. And the Peaky Blinders movie is getting amazing reviews, with a great score on Rotten Tomatoes! It’s awesome because he’s still got even more projects in the works, so this is just the beginning!

Rebecca Ferguson will star as the villain in the upcoming family film The Magic Faraway Tree, set to release on March 27th. Following that, she’ll briefly reprise her role as Lady Jessica in Dune: Part Three. Fans can also look forward to the third season of Silo in 2026, with a potential fourth season following shortly after in 2027.

The sci-fi series Silo is a hit for Apple TV+, boasting a 90% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and two Emmy nominations. Notably, it unexpectedly returned to the platform’s top 10 most-watched shows in September 2025, even after its second season finished airing—all thanks to excitement for the upcoming third season. Silo is part of a growing lineup of strong sci-fi shows on Apple TV+, joining popular series like Severance and Pluribus, and is likely to be a success when it returns for another season.

Silo seasons 1 and 2 are available to stream on Apple TV.
