Over a month after it premiered on Disney+, Marvel Studios is now offering the first episode of Wonder Man to watch for free. The series, starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, has quickly become one of Marvel’s best-rated shows on the streaming platform, currently boasting a 91% ‘Certified Fresh’ rating on Rotten Tomatoes based on 108 reviews.
Simon Williams, an up-and-coming actor hoping to make it in Hollywood, is finding it difficult to launch his career. He unexpectedly meets Trevor Slattery, a veteran actor whose prime may be over. They both discover that the famous director Von Kovak is rebooting the superhero movie Wonder Man. The two actors, at very different stages in their lives, relentlessly pursue roles in the film, offering audiences a glimpse into the inner workings of the entertainment world.

Good news for Marvel fans without Disney+! The first episode of Wonder Man, called “Matinee,” is now available to watch for free on Marvel Entertainment’s YouTube channel. It’s 32 minutes and 47 seconds long.
Destin Daniel Cretton, known for directing ‘Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings’ and ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’, was the executive producer and director of ‘Wonder Man’. He co-created the series with showrunner Andrew Guest, whose previous work includes ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ and ‘Community’. The show stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (an Emmy Award winner) as Simon Williams, alongside Demetrius Grosse, Byron Bowers, and Lauren Glazier. Ben Kingsley and Arian Moayed reprise their roles from other Marvel Cinematic Universe projects as Trevor Slattery and P. Cleary, respectively.
All eight episodes of Wonder Man are still available for streaming on Disney+.
