Based on information from well-known source Daniel Richtman, it seems that the X-Men reboot movie may start casting as soon as Avengers: Doomsday finishes shooting. Moreover, since the script is currently being drafted, it appears that Marvel Studios might be preparing to initiate production on this film sooner than expected.
The upcoming X-Men reboot movie will be helmed by director Jake Schreier (Thunderbolts*). Although he didn’t reveal many details about the film, he did mention that the legendary Marvel team offers a wealth of “fascinating and multi-layered content.
Currently, there’s not much information available about the upcoming X-Men movie within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). However, it has been confirmed that actors from the original film series, including Patrick Stewart as Professor X, are slated to appear in Avengers: Doomsday in 2026. Yet, their specific roles in this movie remain uncertain.
It’s clear that this upcoming X-Men film is expected to be quite different from any X-Men movie we’ve watched so far, since Marvel Studios’ Kevin Feige mentioned it won’t resemble anything they’ve done previously.
