PlayStation Plus Subscribers Have Only 48 Hours To Grab Latest Free Games

PlayStation Plus is adding new games in March, so the free games currently available for Essential members in February will soon be gone. You have less than 48 hours to add them to your library if you haven’t already.

The PlayStation Plus games released last month – originally announced on the PlayStation Blog – are leaving the service soon. The good news is a new selection of games will be added this Tuesday, just two days away, following the usual release schedule.

Multiple PS Plus Free Games Leave On March 3

This month’s free PlayStation Plus Essential games will no longer be available after Monday, March 2nd, just before the new games are added. These are the games leaving the Essential tier in two days:

  • Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown
  • Subnautica: Below Zero
  • Ultros
  • Undisputed

When these games were first announced for PS Plus, some subscribers expressed disappointment, as many had received lukewarm or negative feedback. While February’s selection doesn’t include any standout must-play titles, there are still a few worth trying, especially since they’re free for subscribers. It’s a good idea to download them while they’re available.

PS Plus March Games Are On The Way Though

You can add February’s free PlayStation Plus games to your library even if you aren’t ready to play them yet. Adding them now means you can start getting excited about the March games, which have already been announced and will be available on March 3, 2026. Here’s what’s coming in March:

  • The Elder Scrolls Online Collection: Gold Road
  • Monster Hunter Rise
  • PGA Tour 2K25
  • Slime Rancher 2

The Elder Scrolls Online Collection lets you jump directly into the game with access to all its main stories and areas. If you haven’t played it yet, Monster Hunter Rise is a really good RPG. PGA Tour 2K25 has some performance issues according to reviews, but it’s considered a fantastic golf game. And Slime Rancher 2 is a charming farming game where you raise monsters, and it’s been very well-received.

Even though February’s PlayStation Plus games weren’t the most exciting, March is shaping up to be a good month. Don’t forget to add February’s Essential games to your PlayStation Plus library – you have less than 48 hours to claim them!
