Movie lovers should mark March 20th on their calendars! That day will see the release of two highly awaited movies in theaters, plus a new season of a popular crime series will start streaming on Netflix. It’s shaping up to be a big month for film fans with plenty to look forward to.
Several new films are coming out in March. Maggie Gyllenhaal’s The Bride and Pixar’s Hoppers will be released on March 6th. Then, on March 13th, look for Undertone from A24 and the movie adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s novel, Reminders of Him. Finally, They Will Kill You and Forbidden Fruits both premiere on March 27th.
March 20th looks like a great day for entertainment! Both “Project Hail Mary” and “Ready or Not 2: Here I Come” will hit theaters, and “Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man” will start streaming on Netflix – giving you a fantastic lineup of options in cinemas and at home.
Project Hail Mary And Ready Or Not 2: Here I Come Release In Theaters On March 20
Based on Andy Weir’s science fiction novel, Project Hail Mary is a film directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller. It stars Ryan Gosling as Ryland Grace, a man who wakes up in space with amnesia. He soon remembers he’s on a vital mission to save the planet.
The new sci-fi movie, Project Hail Mary, is generating a lot of buzz. It’s based on a popular novel by the author of The Martian, and marks the first time Lord and Miller have directed a film since 22 Jump Street in 2014. Initial responses have been overwhelmingly positive, with ScreenRant’s Liam Crowley calling it “perfect” on X.
Also debuting on March 20th is Ready or Not 2: Here I Come. The film follows Grace (Samara Weaving), who once again faces a deadly game of hide-and-seek, but this time against an even more dangerous group. She’s not facing this challenge alone, though – her sister, played by Kathryn Newton, is with her.
The 2019 horror-comedy Ready or Not was a big success, earning over $56.7 million globally on a $6 million budget. The directors, Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, are back for the sequel, which features a fresh group of villains including Elijah Wood and Sarah Michelle Gellar. The trailer suggests the new film will be just as exciting as the original.
Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man Premieres On Netflix On The Same Day
After ending its six-season run in 2022, Peaky Blinders is coming back as a new film, four years later. The show, which first aired in 2013, stars Cillian Murphy as Thomas Shelby, the head of a criminal gang called the Peaky Blinders in post-World War I Birmingham, England.
The new film, Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man, brings Thomas Shelby back to Birmingham during World War II, where he faces off against his son, who has taken over the Peaky Blinders gang. Cillian Murphy stars alongside new cast members, including Rebecca Ferguson, Tim Roth, and Barry Keoghan, who plays the role of Thomas’ son.
Steven Knight, who created and wrote the show, wrote the screenplay, and Tom Harper directed. The film will first be shown in select theaters starting March 6th, then it will be available on Netflix beginning March 20th. Along with Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man and Ready or Not 2, Project Hail Mary is making March 20th a promising date for movie lovers.
