A brand new image from The Mandalorian & Grogu reveals Din Djarin using his wrist-mounted flamethrower while battling inside a snowy Imperial base.
As part of ScreenRant’s preview of spring 2026 movies, we’re excited to share a brand-new image from The Mandalorian & Grogu. The photo shows Din Djarin in what looks like the film’s most exciting action scene.
A recent shot from the movie’s trailer—released almost two weeks ago—depicts the main character, wearing his helmet, using a flamethrower built into his wrist to break into a frozen Imperial base. Stormtroopers from the remaining Imperial forces are guarding either side of the entrance.
Remember Star Wars Celebration’s Epic Teaser?
The first look at The Mandalorian & Grogu shown at Star Wars Celebration 2025 in Japan revealed a thrilling, extended action sequence. It featured a large battle with Snowtroopers and AT-AT walkers taking place in a frozen landscape, hinting at a major set piece that’s only been briefly shown in trailers until now.
This latest image shows the battle taking place inside an Imperial base as well, suggesting a complex, multi-part conflict on a snowy planet we haven’t seen before. The snowy setting was hinted at in the Super Bowl commercial featuring Tauntauns, a nod to the planet Hoth. While the commercial brought back memories of Hoth, fans are hoping this new planet in The Mandalorian & Grogu offers something fresh for the Star Wars universe.
This Key Moment is in The Mandalorian & Grogu’s Final Trailer
The latest trailer gives us the best view yet of the intense battle between the Empire and Din Djarin, highlighting how well his Beskar armor and weapons perform. Interestingly, Grogu isn’t seen in the trailer’s footage of the corridor fight or the AT-AT battle, which was originally shown at Star Wars Celebration 2025.
Most of the marketing for The Mandalorian & Grogu has focused on them as a pair, which makes it noticeable when Din Djarin isn’t present in what looks like the movie’s biggest action scene. This leads fans to wonder where Grogu is during this part of the story – is he separated from Din, or does he have a different job to do? Could this scene involve someone rescuing Grogu?
The scenes of fighting both inside the base and with the walker show Mando fighting alone against the remaining Imperial forces. If these battles are connected, it means a significant part of the movie will feature Din Djarin as a lone warrior, similar to what we saw in Season 1, even though the story involves multiple characters.
