What do we know about Avengers: Doomsday reshoots?

A new report from industry insider James Mack suggests that upcoming reshoots for “Doomsday” will include some well-known actors. While Mack hasn’t revealed any names, fans are already speculating about who might appear. With “Doomsday” already boasting a large cast and Marvel Studios’ history of surprise appearances, anything is possible.

Details about the upcoming Avengers movie, currently known as ‘Doomsday,’ are still scarce. However, the film is expected to bring together a large ensemble cast, including familiar faces like Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, Anthony Mackie as Captain America, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier, Letitia Wright as Shuri/Black Panther, and Paul Rudd as Ant-Man.

As a huge movie fan, I’m getting so excited about the cast list for the next film! We’re going to see Wyatt Russell as U.S. Agent/John Walker, Tenoch Huerta as Namor, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach playing The Thing/Ben Grimm. Plus, Simu Liu will be back as Shang-Chi, alongside Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova. They’ve also got Kelsey Grammer as Dr. Hank McCoy/Beast, Lewis Pullman as Bob/Sentry, and Danny Ramirez as Joaquin Torres/Falcon. And it doesn’t stop there! Joseph Quinn is joining as Johnny Storm/Human Torch, David Harbour will be Alexei Shostakov/Red Guardian, Winston Duke is reprising his role as M’Baku, Hannah John-Kamen returns as Ava Starr/Ghost, and of course, Tom Hiddleston is back as Loki. It’s shaping up to be an incredible ensemble!

The next X-Men movie will feature the return of several familiar faces, including Patrick Stewart as Charles Xavier, Ian McKellen as Magneto, Alan Cumming as Nightcrawler, Rebecca Romijn as Mystique, James Marsden as Cyclops, and Channing Tatum as Gambit.

The movie Avengers: Doomsday is scheduled to come out on December 18, 2026, followed by Avengers: Secret Wars on December 17, 2027.
