It looks like Hulu’s Paradise is nearing its end, and even the actors aren’t sure what will happen in the final episodes. While rumors suggest the show will conclude after a possible third season, stars Sterling K. Brown and Julianne Nicholson admit they don’t agree on what’s in store for the series.
“I think we have two different answers to that story,” Nicholson said.
Unlike others, Nicholson admitted she hadn’t received much information about the show’s overall storyline from her superiors. She stated simply, “No,” when asked if she knew what was going to happen.
Given her prominent role in Paradise, Brown believed it wouldn’t be difficult for Nicholson to find out what happened next. He suggested the writers would likely share the plot details if asked. However, Nicholson preferred to learn things at her own pace, waiting for the information to come to her naturally while on set. “I’m available when they’re ready to reveal things,” she said. “I’m happy to wait and receive the information when they’re ready.”
Drake questioned whether to believe her, playfully asking, “Do we believe her?” But Brown seemed sure his coworker was right to let the events of Paradise unfold naturally. He confirmed his belief, adding a quick note that Nicholson is a reliable and hardworking person.
He said, excitedly anticipating the food, ‘I can’t wait to dig in!’ He jokingly added that he probably shouldn’t use such language.
Producer John Hoberg Has Long Teased Paradise‘s End Date
The Hulu series Paradise recently released the first three episodes of its second season, but hasn’t been officially renewed yet. However, producer John Hoberg has consistently believed the show will ultimately last exactly three seasons.
He told The Hollywood Reporter in January 2025 that the show is planned to run for three seasons, and shared some details about his vision. He explained that while the core characters will remain consistent, each season will feel like a slightly different series, promising ‘big moves’ in the future.
Hoberg restated his overall plan for the show, emphasizing it hasn’t changed. He explained they have a clear idea of how the story will conclude, and that ending would make a fourth season unlikely.
New episodes of Paradise are released on Hulu every Monday.
