As per well-known industry source Daniel Richtman, who goes by DanielRPK online, there’s a buzz about the upcoming Secret Wars that hints at Marvel Studios potentially planning for Robert Downey Jr. to carry on portraying the character of Doctor Doom past the Secret Wars project.

At present, there’s not much information available on the upcoming movie, Avengers: Secret Wars. Yet, fans have been speculating for a while that Robert Downey Jr. might relinquish his role as Victor Von Doom/Doctor Doom following his appearance in Avengers: Doomsday and Secret Wars. The events of Secret Wars are expected to significantly influence the course of the Marvel Cinematic Universe going forward.
