Prime Video has a lot of great movies available to stream this weekend, covering all sorts of genres. There are both brand new additions and some longtime favorites, and they’re sure to entertain. Last week, I highlighted a few movies on Prime Video, including the Adam Sandler films Click and 50 First Dates, and Puppy Love.
With Valentine’s Day over, let’s ditch the romantic comedies! This weekend, I’m looking at a spy thriller, a classic action-comedy series, and – alright, one more romance – as the best picks for what to stream on Prime Video.
3. Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre (2023)
Currently, the most popular movie on Prime Video in the US is Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre. If you haven’t seen it yet, you’re missing a thrilling spy movie starring big names like Jason Statham, Aubrey Plaza, Josh Hartnett, and Hugh Grant, among others.
Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre follows a team of top spies who must work together – and convince a famous Hollywood actor to join them – on a risky assignment. The film is directed by Guy Ritchie, and it’s packed with his trademark style, exciting action, and plenty of laughs, making it a great choice for a fun weekend watch.
2. Charlie’s Angels (2000)
Sony is developing a new Charlie’s Angels movie, with Pete Chiarelli, who wrote The Proposal, working on the script, according to The Hollywood Reporter. With this announcement, it’s a great time to revisit the original film starring Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, and Lucy Liu.
If you enjoyed Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre, you’ll likely be entertained by this new action comedy, which is packed with thrilling action, charming characters, and plenty of humor. The story follows a team tasked with rescuing a kidnapped inventor and preventing a dangerous invention from being misused.
1. Love Me Love Me (2026)
Okay, so if you’re still craving a rom-com fix after Valentine’s Day, especially if you enjoyed shows like The Summer I Turned Pretty, Prime Video has you covered with their new release, Love Me Love Me. Honestly, it’s just a really easy, feel-good movie – perfect for a relaxed night in.
Sometimes, watching “Love Me Love Me” feels like a fast-paced show, not demanding much time from viewers. The story is set in Italy, where Mia Jenkins’ character, June, moves to start over after the loss of her brother.
She quickly becomes caught between two love interests: Will, who seems like a perfect boyfriend, and James, who’s more of a rebel. These three films, available on Prime Video, offer something for everyone and are great for a weekend viewing session.
