More Letterkenny & Shoresy Crossovers After Season 5 Addressed By Star

As a longtime fan of the Letterkenny universe, I’m thrilled to hear that Shoresy might finally cross paths with some of the original gang after five seasons of his own show. It’s great to see this spinoff potentially bringing these characters together – it feels like a natural progression and something fans have been hoping for!

Jared Keeso created and stars in Shoresy, which is heading into its sixth season. The show began as a spin-off of Letterkenny, which concluded after twelve seasons in 2023. Shoresy first appeared as a character on Letterkenny (though we didn’t see his face until the Shoresy pilot), but since its 2022 debut, only a handful of characters from the original series—like JJ Frankie JJ, Ted Hitchcock, and Anik Archambault—have joined the Sudbury-based show.

Although no main characters from Letterkenny have appeared in Shoresy yet, the show’s cast is optimistic that could happen. Tasya Teles, who plays Nat, spoke with ScreenRant about the possibility of characters crossing over between the two shows ahead of Shoresy season 5’s premiere on Hulu on February 21st. While there aren’t any current plans, Teles said the cast “would all love” to see more Letterkenny characters join Shoresy, believing they’d all fit right in.

Honestly, I think everyone would be thrilled with that. However, I’m not sure how it could realistically fit into the show. That’s really something Jared Keeso would have to figure out, as it’s up to his creative vision for the series.

We could definitely make it work to include everyone. It would be really funny to revisit the world of Letterkenny with a hockey game, maybe for a special episode. It’s been ten years since the show started, so it’d be a great way to celebrate. The only thing is, Jared Keeso is really busy with two new projects right now, so we’ll have to see if we can get him on board.

While she doesn’t mention specific characters she’d like to see appear, Teles believes the 10-year anniversary of Letterkenny‘s debut in 2026 would be an ideal time for a crossover in season 6 of Shoresy. However, she explains that making it happen might be challenging, as Jared Keeso is currently very busy with both hockey and working on two new television series.

It would be a satisfying storyline for Shoresy if his Sudbury team played a game in Letterkenny, the town where the show originally introduced his character. Shoresy played hockey in Letterkenny alongside Jonesy and Reilly before moving to Sudbury, so a return trip would be a meaningful moment. It would highlight how much he’s developed as both a person and a hockey player – now as a coach – since leaving his old stomping grounds.

With the team no longer playing at their old rink and as Shoresy moves into its fifth season, season six could offer some exciting possibilities – like taking the team on the road for games in new locations. Instead of having characters from Letterkenny come to Sudbury, it would be more interesting to see Shoresy play somewhere familiar, challenging the whole team to adapt to a new environment.

As a fan, one of the first things I’d wonder about if Letterkenny and Shoresy ever really crossed over is whether Shoresy would start hiding his face again when he’s around the Letterkenny crew. It’s cool that Jared Keeso plays both Wayne and Shoresy, but he’s never actually shown both of their faces on screen at the same time, so that would be a big decision!

Because a crossover is more likely to happen on Shoresy than Letterkenny, the dynamic could be flipped, with Shoresy actually appearing on screen while Wayne’s face remains hidden. While many Letterkenny characters could return after the show ended in 2023, Jonesy and Reilly seem like the best choices, as they used to play hockey with Shoresy.

As a huge fan of both shows, I’m really hoping we get a Shoresy and Letterkenny crossover! I heard season 6 of Shoresy is planned to start filming in fall 2026, which feels like a bit of a deadline. While that season might not be the last one, it would be amazing to see those worlds collide, and I’m crossing my fingers it happens in a future season if not then!
