Marvel Reveals Official Spider-Man & Superman Team-Up Logo

This April, Marvel and DC Comics are marking 50 years of team-ups between their heroes with the release of Spider-Man/Superman #1. This special issue brings together Spider-Man and Superman for their first adventure as a duo in decades, since the 1970s.

Marvel announced new cover art for its upcoming crossover event, scheduled for February 4, 2026. One of the highlights is a special variant cover that cleverly combines the symbols of Spider-Man and Superman. The design features a merged logo, blending Spider-Man’s mask with Superman’s iconic S-shield into a single, unified emblem representing both heroes.

The logo combines the two heroes, reflecting the unique team-up happening in the comics. Marvel is publishing Spider-Man/Superman #1 in April, and DC is releasing Superman/Spider-Man in March. Both comics will feature brand-new stories created by some of the most celebrated names in the industry.

The logo for their collaboration uses Superman’s famous ‘S’ shield – arguably the most recognizable symbol ever created for a superhero.

Marvel has shared a fantastic collection of alternate covers for the first issue of Spider-Man/Superman. These covers highlight the various stories and artists involved in this big team-up event.

The primary cover art, illustrated by Pepe Larraz, depicts Superman flying above Spider-Man as the two heroes swing through a city, creating a sense of movement and action.

I saw some incredible fan art recently featuring Spider-Man – specifically Miles Morales – teaming up with Superman! The image showed Superman looking really strong and assured, while Miles was doing his signature upside-down pose from a building, still rocking his cool black and red suit. It was a fantastic visual!

Okay, so one really striking piece shows a definite noir influence. It’s Superman, but positioned behind Spider-Man Noir, which is a cool visual. Spider-Man’s in the foreground, all shadows and packing dual pistols, while Superman stands back there, looking like the classic hero. The contrast is just fantastic – it really highlights how different their approaches to crime-fighting are. It’s a powerful image, and immediately makes you think about the shades of gray in heroism.

This special cover brings together heroes from DC and Marvel. Superman, Wonder Woman, and Jane Foster stand together, while Spider-Man takes the leading position. The artwork is full of energy, showing this unlikely team working together.

Peach Momoko’s variant cover features both Ghost-Spider and Supergirl in dynamic poses. Ghost-Spider is depicted crawling forward in white, while Supergirl stands powerfully behind her in her classic red and blue suit, creating a visually appealing contrast between the two heroes.

Will We Ever See a Live-Action Spider-Man and Superman Team-Up?

The comic book team-up of Spider-Man and Superman makes you wonder if we’ll ever see them join forces in a movie. Right now, that seems pretty unlikely. Sony owns the movie rights to Spider-Man, while Warner Bros. Discovery owns Superman. These two companies are competitors and rarely work together, especially when it comes to their biggest characters.

Tom Holland plays Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Meanwhile, DC Studios has cast David Corenswet as the new Superman for their revamped DC Universe. These two superhero worlds – Marvel and DC – are distinct, with each having its own creative direction and studio backing.

Hollywood is full of surprises, though. We’ve already seen unlikely collaborations, like Marvel and Sony sharing Spider-Man in their movies. Plus, Disney and Warner Bros. used to be major rivals, but now they both run streaming services and even share content sometimes.

Marvel and DC Comics still collaborate on projects when it makes good business sense for both of them. A great example is the Deadpool/Batman crossover, which earned both companies a lot of money and positive attention.

Bringing together characters from different universes in a live-action movie would be incredibly difficult. It would require major studios like Sony, Marvel, Warner Bros., and DC to work together, agreeing on everything from the story to how money is made and which characters can appear. Just figuring out the practical details seems almost impossible.

Despite the difficulties, a Spider-Man and Superman team-up movie could be hugely successful at the box office. Both heroes are incredibly famous worldwide, and the film would attract a large audience beyond just comic book readers. The potential for profit is clear, even though making the movie presents significant hurdles.

As a huge fan, I’m loving seeing Spider-Man and Superman team up! Right now, we can enjoy their adventures in the Spider-Man/Superman #1 comic. It’s giving us the team-up we’ve always dreamed of – seeing Marvel’s Spider-Man and DC’s Superman working together to be heroes – something we can’t get in the movies just yet!
