There’s a growing buzz that pop sensation Lady Gaga might be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe. A source familiar with industry news recently suggested she’s in talks with Marvel Studios, potentially returning to the superhero movie genre after her upcoming role in the film Joker: Folie à Deux.

Lady Gaga rumored to have met with Kevin Feige

According to industry insider @MyTimeToShineH on X (formerly Twitter), Lady Gaga recently met with Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige and is a strong contender for a significant role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

These rumors come after Lady Gaga received multiple Grammys this year.

Rumors about Lady Gaga possibly appearing in a Marvel movie have been circulating for a while. Back in November 2024, a source suggested Marvel’s Kevin Feige was interested in her for the role of Dazzler.

Dazzler was created by Tom DeFalco and John Romita Jr. for Marvel Comics. She first appeared in The Uncanny X-Men over forty years ago and has been a well-known character in the Marvel Universe ever since.

A rumor surfaced in 2020 suggesting Lady Gaga could take on the role of Emma Frost in a Marvel film. The character was previously played by January Jones in the 2011 movie, X-Men: First Class.

It’s unknown what the meeting @MyTimeToShineH mentioned actually involved – whether it concerned the character Dazzler, Emma Frost, or someone else entirely. As of today, neither Marvel nor Lady Gaga has confirmed or commented on the meeting.
